No7 Launch Tomorrow!

I cannot wait to see all the new cosmetics No7 have been working on for the last 3 years!

Not only are they relaunching a new set of colours, textures and products, but they have developed a hand held device that will identify the perfect foundation colour for you. The device uses 8 LED lights and 1 UV light and a camera which takes 27 photos of your skin at different angles to identfy the most true match possible!

Check out Lisa Eldridge’s blog for all the details!

Okkkkk sooo time for my first bad review.

I bought the ‘Nivea radiance boosting moisturiser’ about a year ago and still have a practically filled pot.

I liked the idea of ‘radiance boosting’ especially during the summer when a heavy foundation isn’t appropriate, but it seems that Nivea’s idea of radiance is a face full of glitter. You can see from the photos quite how sparkley and golden the colour is compared to the colour of your skin (the photos aren’t mine, I found them on google, but I feel they represent the product accurately).

Apart from the colour, the other worrying factor was the overpowering smell. Nice as it is and I have to say that I am a fan of perfumed items and always buy the perfumed version of beauty product, this moisturiser made my eyes water because the scent is so strong. I felt like I had just squirted a spray of Davidoff straight in my face :p.

This product would be more suitable as a highlighting fluid rather than a moitsuriser. Although I have read that Tess Daley swears by it.

To Buy or not to buy?… Not this time, although on the whole I do like Nivea, so spend your money on something else by them :) xo
